What does the church believe?
For more information about our beliefs, please click the “OUR FAITH” tab above. Your questions should be answered there. If not, please contact the church office. We’ll be happy to talk to you.
Can my kids sit with me?
Yes! There is also an option for Pre-K and Kindergarten kids to stay for only part of the service. Each week, we have a dedicated time of prayer in the middle of the service. After this time of prayer, our Pre-K and Kindergarten children are invited to go to extended session with one of our volunteer children’s workers. When we celebrate the Lord’s Supper and perform baptisms, we do so before the children leave to ensure they witness these practices of the church.
Is there a nursery?
Yes! Our nursery worker is on staff and has completed a background check. The nursery is staffed during both the Bible study hour and the worship hour.
What is the music like?
We sing a combination of modern worship songs (i.e. “Reckless Love” and “See a Victory”) and classic worship songs (i.e. “How Great Thou Art” and “Amazing Grace”).
Is there a children’s worship service?
Yes! Weekly there is a time for children in Kindergarten and younger. Once per month, we offer a children’s worship time for all children fifth grade and younger. The time is spent worshiping through movement and Bible study and concentrates on helping our children participate and engage in the general worship service (most kids call it “big” church).
What is the preaching like?
Bro. Ryan shares a message rooted in the Bible and seeks to explain it and apply it to daily life to help us become more like Jesus.
What should I wear?
You’ll find a little bit of everything at First Baptist. People wear shorts, jeans, t-shirts, dress shirts, fishing shirts, dresses, slacks, and more.
Where is the best place to park?
When you arrive, most people park in front of the church on Buechman Road and enter the building there.
How do I join the church?
At the end of the service, there is a time of response when people respond to how God is leading them. If you have questions about Jesus or would like to join the church, come down front at this time and talk to the pastor. Most people join in one of the following ways:
-Coming from another Baptist church.
-Coming from another church, trust Jesus, and have already been baptized.
-Already trusting Jesus and want to be baptized.
-Trusting Jesus for the first time and want to be baptized.
What does a church member do?
Our church members are encouraged to engage in worship, Bible study, and service. Members support the ministry of the church by giving some of their time, abilities, and finances. Our members are also asked to pray for four (4) people that they know, so that these people may come to know Jesus and be connected to a Bible-believing church.
Can I give to the church online?
What are the church’s office hours?
The church office is open Monday through Thursday 9:30AM-2:30PM.

Our pastor is available to meet with you during the week either at church, at home, or somewhere else. It is always best to call the church office and coordinate a time to make sure he is not on a hospital visit or away at a meeting. He is also available after the Sunday service.
